Juliana is a fully licensed Chartered Physiotherapist by CORU with current membership  of the ISCP (Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists), IUGA, ICS member – Women’s health, Pelvic and Continence Specialist.

BSc(Hons) Physiotherapy: Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos – UNISINOS, Brazil. Post graduate in Physiotherapy in Women’s health and Post grad Diploma in Women’s health by Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.

Juliana is a fully licensed Chartered Physiotherapist with current membership of the ISCP (Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapy), CORU (Health and Social Care Professions), IUGA (International Urogynecological Association), ICS (International Continence Society) and Brazilian Physiotherapy Association Crefito-5/RS.

She obtained her BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree at Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos – UNISINOS, Brazil in 2010. Following her degree, she worked simultaneously in two different hospitals in Brazil for a year and a half. At the same time she had the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team, specialising in ALS (Amyotrophic lateral Sclerosis) developing studies and researching. In 2011 she decided to move to Ireland and start a new journey in her profession and life.

Juliana has experience in Brazil and Ireland in private rehabilitation clinics and hospitals. In Ireland she has been working as a Chartered Physiotherapist since 2012, her professional experience includes working in two of the largest Physiotherapy private companies in Ireland, with busy caseloads rehabilitating successfully thousands of patients. In addition, Juliana has worked with orthopaedics at Bon Secours Hospital in Limerick city, with pre assessment and post operative hip and knee replacement surgeries.

Since 2018, after many years gaining experience and a vast background in Musculoskeletal, Juliana found her true passion in physiotherapy and has begun a journey to become a specialist in Women’s health, Pelvic health and Continence.

In 2020, she completed postgraduate certification in Physiotherapy in Women’s Health (UniBF) and is committed to CPDs, completed post-courses in Sexology, Women’s Health (Bladder Pain Syndrome, Pelvic floor and core dysfunctions, antenatal and postnatal), and Manual therapy. She is also qualified and certified to perform Dry Needling, Mulligan, Mat Pilates instructor by APPI (general and special groups, including Pregnancy). 

In May 2021 she established HER PHYSIO – Women’s Health Physiotherapy Clinic in the heart of Dublin city.

In 2022 she was invited by the well renowned Gynaecologist Dr Gerry Agnew to be part of his team with focus on pelvic floor reconstructive surgeries. Check here.  

In 2022 she was also determined to take another big step in her career. She was accepted as one of the five Physiotherapists in Ireland to enter in a Women’s Health Medical postgraduate program at Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.
